WTS International Conference Childcare

WTS International Annual Conference 2024 > WTS International Conference Childcare

Childcare + Youth Participation at #WTSAC2024

As an association that promotes equity and access in transportation, WTS International is proud to support working parents who attend our events. We also welcome teenagers who are exploring careers in the transportation industry. We have developed these guidelines to ensure that all of our attendees are able to enjoy the various experiences offered at our events.

Childcare: 2024 WTS Annual Conference Childcare Services will be available at the New Orleans Marriott starting Tuesday, May 7 through Friday, May 10.

Childcare services will be provided by GO-TAB, Luxury Event Childcare. GO-TAB has a team of experienced, professional, and CPR/First Aid certified caregivers. Your children will have a blast with fun activities such as games, toys, music, and arts and crafts.

The cost for Childcare services during the annual conference is $175 per child. Parents will be invoiced by WTS International after the completion of the childcare registration. Childcare will begin on May 7th, 2024, and will end on May 10th, 2024.

Childcare will be provided for children between the ages of 6 months and 12 years at a subsidized rate and at the parent’s expense. This rate is a fixed rate for the week no matter the number of hours of service used. Please note, separate registration through the childcare provider is required, as well as pre-payment to utilize daycare services on-site.

Walk-up childcare services are NOT provided. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed in the education sessions, the exhibit hall, or social functions. A nursing mothers’ room will be available. Any attendee who brings a child under age 13 into an education session, the exhibit hall, or social function may and will be asked to leave and may return without the child.

Teenager/Youth Participants: Teenagers between the ages of 13 to 17 may attend educational sessions and the exhibit hall under adult supervision. Teen guests will not be charged admission to the event. Any teen guest whose behavior is disruptive will be removed from the event.
